Short Bio

Clara della Valle is post-doctoral researcher, adjunct professor and teaching tutor in International Relations at the Department of Political and Social Sciences of the University of Bologna. Previously, she was academic tutor of the Master in International Security Studies at the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna in Pisa (2020-2021), where she worked as project manager and researcher of the project Enhancing Women’s Participation in Peace and Security (WEPPS), funded by the MAECI and implemented in partnership with Agency for Peacebuilding (2020). Clara della Valle obtained her PhD in Politics, Human Rights and Sustainability from the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna in 2019, with a thesis on EU gender policies in Tunisia. Before enrolling in the PhD Program, she held a second-level Master’s degree in European Political and Administrative Studies from the College of Europe (Bruges), a Master’s degree in International Relations and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Sciences from the LUISS University (Rome). She has worked for the MAECI, the NPO Rondine Cittadella della Pace (Arezzo), and obtained the title of giornalista pubblicista in 2013. Go to the Curriculum vitae
