Chiara Vagnini

Chiara Vagnini is a Management Engineer and Ph.D. student in General Management at the Department of Management of the University of Bologna. She is also teaching assistant of Business Management.

During her Master’s degree in Management Engineering which she also gained at the University of Bologna, she studied a semester abroad at the Technische Universität of Berlin. In 2019, she joined the EIT Climate-Kic research project “Re-Industrialize”, funded by the European Commission, and she has been member of the Observatory on Business Sustainability since 2021.

In 2020, Chiara earned the title of Chartered Engineer in Italy and the following year, she became an aggregate expert member on the commission for Chartered Industrial Engineer qualification.

Currently, her research activity focuses on sustainable operations and supply chain management decision-making, and the drivers of industrial sustainability transition across EU regions.
