Chiara Notarangelo

Chiara Notarangelo is a PhD candidate in "Future Earth, Climate Change, and Societal Challenges" (Department of Economics), with her research focused on the "Benefits and costs of new solutions for hospital waste management."

Her research interests span behavioral economics and holistic decision-making, which considers the economic, social, and environmental aspects of policies and business decisions.

Chiara's research projects always start with an analysis of the surrounding environment. A distinctive aspect of her work is the active involvement of the community and the use of questionnaires to gain an inclusive perspective.

During the academic year 2022/2023, Chiara served as a tutor in the following subjects:

• "Statistics for Data Analysis" at Johns Hopkins University SAIS Europe (Bologna)
• "Digital Culture" for the undergraduate program in Management and Marketing at the University of Bologna
• "Behavioural Decision Making" for the master's program in Economics and Management at the University of Bologna, Forlì Campus.
