Chiara Davino

Short Bio

Chiara Davino is architect and Ph.D. Following her position as a Research fellow in Architectural Representation at Università Iuav di Venezia, she earned a Ph.D. in Sociology and Social Research at the University of Bologna. Currently, she is a Research Fellow in Sociology at the Department of Sociology and Business Law (UNIBO), within the European Horizon project RESONANT, and Visiting Senior Research Fellow at the School of Human Sciences, Waseda University (Tokyo)

Her field of investigation concerns human mobility in shrinking areas and the risks posed by foreign information manipulation and interference in Europe. She also contributed to the Horizon2020 project Welcoming Spaces.

Her publications include several articles published in both national and international sociology journals. She is the author of "Panico. Letture di campi post 11 settembre" and co-editor of "Immune Morphologies. Forms of militarization and alliances in emergency processes".

She is co-founder of the research team Reimagining Mobilities and co-founded the editorial project Assembramenti.
