Chiara Davino

Chiara Davino is architect and PhD. Following her position as a research fellow in Architectural Representation at Università Iuav di Venezia, she earned a PhD in Sociology and Social Research at the University of Bologna. Currently, she is a research fellow in Sociology at the Department of Sociology and Business Law at the University of Bologna, within the European Horizon2020 project RESONANT. 

Her field of investigation concerns migration in shrinking areas in Italy and the risks posed by foreign information manipulation and interference in Europe. With her multidisciplinary background, she approaches these issues by examining the interplay between spatial contexts and sociological phenomena. She also contributed to the Horizon2020 project Welcoming Spaces.

Her publications include several articles published in both national and international sociology journals. She is the author of "Panico. Letture di campi post 11 settembre" and co-editor of "Immune Morphologies. Forms of militarization and alliances in emergency processes".

She is co-founder of the research team Reimagining Mobilities and co-founded the editorial project Assembramenti.
