Chiara Ciambellotti is a PhD candidate in Architecture and Culture of the Project at the University of Bologna.
The field in which she operates it’s urban planning, paying particular attention to social and ecological dynamics. Specifically, she explores possible alternatives and solutions that place a degrowth model at the core of the urban discourse, strongly in contrast to the current dominant capitalistic logic. In order to do so, she is focusing on rediscovering the fundamental intellectual work done by Liselotte and Oswald Mathias Ungers between the 1960s and the 1970s.
