Chiara Cevoli

Associate Professor at the University of Bologna since 2024, she conducts research in the field of agricultural engineering, with a specific focus on the application of engineering methods to machinery and processes in the agri-food industry. Her main research areas include the use of non-destructive techniques, such as spectroscopy and hyperspectral imaging for assessing the quality parameters of agri-food products, the application of machine learning algorithms for multivariate data analysis, numerical simulation of food machinery and processes, and the physical characterization of biologically derived products. She has actively participated in numerous research projects at both national and international levels and is the author of over 100 scientific publications. Since October 2024, she is Delegate for International Relations at the Department of Agricultural and Food Sciences.
