Chiara Francesca Bodini

Medical doctor, specialised in Infectious Disease and in Public Health, she completed a PhD at the University of Bologna focusing on the role of social movements in health promotion. She integrated her medical training with post graduate courses in International Health, Medical Anthropology, Sociology of Migration and Migration Medicine. She has experience in international health cooperation and, since 2007, she collaborates with the Centre for International and Intercultural Health (CSI) of the University of Bologna. She teaches courses in Global Health and Migration and Health, both inside and outside the university. She participates in national and international action-research projects in the field of health promotion and health inequalities. She is part of the board of the Italian Association for Migration Medicine (SIMM) and of the global Steering Council of the People's Health Movement (PHM). Go to the Curriculum vitae
