  • Preparation of primary cell cultures from different animal biological matrices for the development of 2d/3d in vitro models for the study of pathologies in veterinary and translational medicine. In particular: porcine aortic endothelial cells (pAECs) porcine vascular-wall  mesenchymal  stem cells (pVW-MSCs), mammary epithelial cells (pMECs), fibroblasts, PBMCs isolated from porcine, bovine and canine peripheral blood.
  • Biological barriers: development of in vitro 2d and 3d (spheroid/organoid of mammary gland) model to study barrier functionality in particualr the "blood milk barrier"
  • Stress biology and heat shock proteins (HSPs): expression of HSPs in animal model in vivo, ex vivo, in vitro under physiological and physiopathological condition.
