She graduated from the APD School of the State Archives of Modena and earned a degree in Cultural Heritage Conservation (archival and library specialization) from the University of Parma in 2004. She completed postgraduate training at La Sapienza University of Rome and obtained the FGCAD Master’s degree from the University of Macerata. Since 2023, she has been a PhD candidate at the University of Bologna, focusing on the creation of ontological networks related to archival creators and their roles over time.
Since 2018, she has worked as an archival officer at the Italian Ministry of Culture, first at the State Archives of Mantua and, since June 2024, at the Estense Galleries – Estense University Library of Modena. She teaches Digital Archival Systems and Records Management at the Schools of Archival Science, Paleography and Diplomatics in Modena, Mantua and Bologna, and has published on archival history, digital technologies for historical research, and the use of archival sources.
