Construction Engineer, graduated in Building and Architectural Engineering, PhD in Architecture at the University of Bologna in co-direction with the Université de Paris-Est, with a degree recognized in Italy and France. Thanks to the study and research experiences carried out abroad in the field of scientific discipline ICAR10, her profile is oriented towards the enhancement of cultural heritage, the preservation of local constructive techniques, the conservation and restoration of historical and recent built patrimony, performance renovation and energy refurbishment of recent building stock, according to a sustainable and circular approach. She publishes papers on the abovementioned research fields and presents them in national and international congresses and workshops.
Since 2011 she has been collaborating with the Department of Architecture of the University of Bologna, participating in research projects and teaching activities related to the courses of: “Progettazione Sostenibile Integrale” for the Single cycle degree programme (LMCU) in Architecture and Building Engineering; “Architettura Tecnica T-1 con Laboratorio” for the First cycle degree programme (L) in Architecture-Engineering; “Architettura Tecnica 2 con Laboratorio M” for the Second cycle degree programme (LM) in Building Engineering -Architecture; “Architettura Tecnica I con Laboratorio” and “Architettura Tecnica II con Laboratorio” for the Single cycle degree programme (LMCU) in Architecture and Building Engineering; “Architettura Tecnica” (Componente del corso integrato Laboratorio di Design del Prodotto-Servizio a c.i.) for the First cycle degree programme (L) in Advanced Design; “Laboratorio di Disegno e Cad T” for the First cycle degree programme (L) in Civil Engineering.
Currently, she participates in the activity of the research group dedicated to the European project “Re-Value - Re-Valuing Urban Quality & Climate Neutrality in European Waterfront Cities” (Horizon Europe, NEB - New European Bauhaus, Coordinator: Norges Teknisk-Naturvitenskapelige Universitet), started in 2022.
