Cecilia Ducci is a PhD student of International Relations in the Department of Political and Social Sciences (35th cycle). Her research interests include IR theory, genocide, mass atrocities, norm contestation, International Law.
She obtained a MSc degree in Political Science with specialization in International Politics from Leiden University (The Netherlands) and a BA(Hons) degree in Politics and International Relations from the University of Kent (UK). She was a visiting PhD fellow in the Department of Political Science at Leiden Univeersity and in Research Department II (International Institutions) at the Peace Research Institute Frankfurt (PRIF/HSFK).
She is currently a tutor for the course "Evolution of the International System" (77976) of the Second cycle degree programme (LM) in International Relations (cod. 9084) and an assistant to the coordinator of the PhD program in Political and Social Sciences. Since January 2023, she is also research assistant for the ERC-funded project AutoNorms at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU).
