Short Bio

Cecilia Ducci is a Postdctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Political and Social Sciences on the PRIN project “Recasting the national interest in Europe: institutions, politics and policies for the defense of critical infrastructures and supply chains". She earned her Ph.D. in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Bologna (35th cycle). Her research interests include International Relations theory, genocide, mass atrocities, norm contestation, new technologies and international law.

She was a visiting PhD fellow in the Department of Political Science at Leiden Univeersity and in Research Department II (International Institutions) at the Peace Research Institute Frankfurt (PRIF/HSFK).

She is currently a tutor for the course "Evolution of the International System" (77976) and an assistant to the coordinator of the PhD program in Political and Social Sciences. From January to December 2023, she was also research assistant for the ERC-funded project AutoNorms at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU).
