Short Bio

Post-doc in SSD PSI/01. ABSTRACTION Project (ERC-2021-STG-101039777) on the topic: "Specificity and Concreteness in the human mind." PI: prof. Marianna M. Bolognesi.

Ph.D. in "Philosophy, Science, Cognition and Semiotics, curriculum:Cognitive Sciences" from the University of Bologna. Thesis Title: Varieties, flexibility, and use of abstract concepts: a multiple grounding perspective.


My research focuses on the study of the interaction between language, cognition, and the body. I combine behavioral methodologies (categorization, recognition, lexical decision) and psycholinguistic methodologies (definitions, free-listing), with a particular interest in investigating the use of abstract concepts in conversation and social interaction.
