Caterina Morganti

Associate Professor at the Faculty of Architecture, Sapienza University of Rome – Department of History, Representation and Restoration of Architecture, since 2025.
Construction Engineer and Architect, she earned a single cycle degree/combined Bachelor and Master in Architecture and Building Engineering from Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna in 2017, and a Ph.D. in Architecture and Design Culture from the same university in 2021. Postdoctoral Research Fellow from 2021 to 2025. She has contributed to several research projects in the fields of architectural drawing, representation, and surveying. Her research focuses on innovative digital surveying and modeling techniques and their applications to the study, accessibility, and documentation of Cultural Heritage.
She has undertaken several research stays at international institutions, including the Oficina del Historiador de La Ciudad de La Habana (Cuba), Nihon University in Tokyo (Japan), the University of California, San Diego - UCSD (USA), and the University of São Paulo (Brazil).
