PhD Candidate in the Department of Industrial Engineering, enrolled in the PhD programme in Automotive Engineering for Intelligent Mobility and supported by the European Marie Skłodowska-Curie scholarship within the Lasers4NetZero project.
Her research focuses on the application of laser material processing to advanced battery cell manufacturing, with particular emphasis on laser cutting and laser structuring of battery electrodes. Her research combines laser process development and the investigation of laser-material interaction with electrochemical characterisation to assess the impact of laser processing on battery performance.
Her research is conducted in collaboration between the Mechanical Engineering Laboratory and the E-Cells Lab at the University of Bologna. She also collaborated with the Laboratory of Energy Storage and Conversion (LESC) at the Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering, University of Chicago, as part of an international research collaboration on advanced battery manufacturing.
