Currently, I am a Research Fellow at the Department of Management of the University of Bologna, where I am working on the project entitled "Local Banks and the Future: Opportunities and Threats Related to the Green and Digital Transition and the Implementation of the NRRP."
I earned a Ph.D. in Economics, Management, and Statistics from the University of Messina in December 2020, after successfully defending a dissertation titled "Four Essays on the Spatial Dependence Effects of Local Banks."
My doctoral thesis examined the spatial dependence effects on the main risk, efficiency performance, and tax planning strategies indicators of local banks.
My primary research interests lie in Spatial Econometrics, mainly in the fields of Banking and Finance Economics.
