Research Fellow at the Interdepartmental Centres for Industrial Research on Advanced Mechanics and Materials. His research activity lies in the field of soft robotics and rehabilitative bioengineering, focused on the use of nanometric artificial structures. His PhD thesis titled "Electrospun hierarchical artificial muscle for soft robotics applications" is part of the European Fet-Open Horizon 2020 project "MAGNIFY", which aims to develop a new generation of artificial muscles for soft robotics realized through the electrospinning of hierarchical structures of polymeric nanofibers and artificial molecular machines.
