Biological anthropologist with a particular interest in ontogenetic studies. Her main research focuses on the developmental changes in the foot linked to the development of bipedalism. She has an additional interest in the health of non-adults, neonatal and postnatal mortality, and child growth and development.
She has been granted a Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship (2022). The project, RISEN ( 01/03/2024 - 28/02/2027) focuses on the development and evolution of the coxal bones linked to bipedalism and childbirth. The project will be carried out in collaboration with the Pennsylvania State University and the University of Southern California (USC).
