Carla Christiany graduated in German, English and American literature and linguistics in 2001 at the University of Tübingen (Germany). In 2011 she took her Masters in Management of Universities and Research Centres at the Politecnicum of Milan.
Since 2018 she is also teaching on behalf of the Polo Universitario Penitenziario (University in Prison, Bologna) German to students imprisoned at the Correctional Facility "Dozza" of Bologna.
Since 2001 she is teaching German as a foreign language at the Language Centre of Bologna University. Her main interest in language teaching concerns listening, writing and oral comunication skills and the creation of teaching material. As author of several German text books and publications in language teaching and e-learning she is also training German teachers in Italy and abroad.
