Camilla Sartor is a Research Fellow at the Department of Architecture, Alma Mater Studiorum - Università di Bologna, and a member of the Advanced Design Unit (ADU). She earned a master’s in Advanced Service Design (2024) with a dissertation on reactivating local communities through design, combining methodological research and applied experimentation. Within the Made in Italy Circolare e Sostenibile (MICS) programme (PNRR - PE11), she works on designing the digital platform for smart packaging as part of the FuturE-Pack project, focusing on UX/UI design and tools that enhance transparency, accessibility, and systemic innovation along supply chains. Her research interests include service design, communication strategies, sustainable innovation, and interaction design, exploring how design can act as a cultural and technological enabler to foster collaboration and responsible transitions connecting local communities with broader socio-technical and environmental contexts.
