Associate Professor of philosophy of law, she graduated in Law cum laude from the University of Bologna and obtained a PhD in "Constitutional Justice and Fundamental Rights" from The University of Pisa. Before joining the University of Bologna, she was a "Ramon y Cajal" Researcher at the Law Department of the Pompeu Fabra University and a "Max Weber Fellow" at the European University Institute, under international research fellowships.
Her research interests lie in legal reasoning, the philosophical foundations of constitutionalism and judicial review, deliberative democracy, social rights.
She is an assistant editor of Ratio Juris: An International Journal of Jurisprudence and Philosophy of Law (Oxford: Wiley), Associate Editor of Jus Cogens. A Critical Journal of Philosophy of Law and Politics (Dordrecht: Springer)and a member of the Law & Philosophy Research Group (Pompeu Fabra University), the Barcelona Institute of Analytic Philosophy, the European Academy of Legal Theory, the EALT International LLM in Legal Theory.
