Research field: Quaternary Geology, Stratigraphy, Sedimentology and Hydrostratigraphy.

Research activity: facies analysis from core data; facies architecture reconstruction of late Quaternary alluvial and coastal plain deposits; application of Sequence Stratigraphic concepts to stratigraphic investigations in a hydrostratigraphic perspective; estimates of sediment volumes, net-to-gross partitioning and 2D-3D mapping of major stratigraphic surfaces using Petrel (Schlumberger).
