- taxonomic studies on Trichoptera communities
- degradation process of large allochthonous organic material and the associated macrobenthic fauna;
- biotic indices in environmental monitoring;
- evaluation of the ecological effects induced on the river ecosystem by the presence and relative hydraulic management of artificial dams;
