I have been a tenure-track researcher at the Department of Interpreting and Translation (DIT) of the University of Bologna since October 2025. My research interests focus in particular on technologies for interpreting support and automation, cognitive processes in interpreting, and audio description of dance.
My current research focuses on augmented interpreting, analysing its theoretical implications and practical applications, as well as on dance audio description.
I worked as a research assistant at the University of Mainz/Germersheim (2021-2022), where I received my PhD in Translation Studies (2022), as a post-doctoral researcher and lecturer at the University of Innsbruck (2022-2025), and I cooperated with the University of Vienna as a trainer (2020-2021 and 2025-2026).
I am a member of the Tanzlation/Dancelation research group, the European Society for Translation Studies (EST), the DAAD Italia Alumni Association (ADIT) and the Austrian Association for Austrian-Italian Academic Exchange (ASSAI).
