Barbara Saracino

Barbara Saracino (PhD in Methodology and Social Research) is associate professor of Sociology at the Department of Political and Social Sciences of the University of Bologna. Her main research interests deal with Methodology and Sociology of Science. She is expert in investigation techniques and analysis of both quantitative and qualitative data. She is member of the steering committee of the research centre Observa Science in Society and also coordinator of Science in Society Monitor. She has edited six of the latest editions of Annuario Scienza Tecnologia e Società (ed. Il Mulino). She is author of three books, including I giochi, le stelle e l’uomo: Studio sociologico della curva normale (2018, ed. Mimesis).
