Barbara Branchi

Barbara Branchi graduated with honors in Chemistry from University of Rome "La Sapienza", subsequently earning a PhD in Chemical Sciences at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata".

She then spent over a decade as a Research Chemist and Post-Doc at the Universities of Uppsala (Sweden), Bologna, Ferrara, and Rome "La Sapienza", specializing in synthesis and characterization of supramolecular systems. This academic phase resulted in several publications in peer-reviewed journals within the fields of physical organic chemistry, supramolecular chemistry, and photochemistry. She then obtained a Specialization in Chemical Hazard Evaluation and Management from the University of Padua.

Since 2014, she has held a permanent position at ARPAE Emilia Romagna as a Chemistry Laboratory Technician, specializing in analytical chemistry, environmental analysis, Quality Management Systems, statistical data processing and EU water regulatory frameworks.
