Prof. Barbara Brunetti graduated cum laude in Veterinary Medicine in 1999 at the University of Bologna and currently she is Associate Professor at the Department of Veterinary Medical Sciences of the University of Bologna (Italy).
In 2005 She gained a PhD in veterinary histopathological anatomical disciplines.
In 2007 she went to the University of Bern (Switzerland) for a one-year residency in veterinary pathology and in 2008 she became a diplomat of the European College of Veterinary Pathology. In the same year she also became a researcher at Bologna University in the Department of Veterinary Medical Sciences.
Since 2014 al 2020 she is Programme Director of ECVP training center di Bologna.
Since 2015 to 2021 she is the Director of second cycle degree in Animal Biotecnology.
Since 2015 to 2021 she is the worker safety representative of the university of Bologna.
Since 2019 to 2021 she is resident fellows of the Institute of Advanced Studies of the University of Bologna.
Her research activities are related to veterinary oncology, in particular on canine and feline mammary tumours.
