Azzurra Meoli

Azzurra Meoli is an Associate Professor at the Department of Management at the University of Bologna, where she earned a Ph.D. in Management in March 2018. Her research interests fall primarily within the area of entrepreneurship and innovation. In particular, her studies focus on explaining the process by which individuals decide to start an entrepreneurial career. She has been visiting scholar at the Whitman School of Business, Syracuse University and at Stanford in the Scandinavian Consortium for Organizational Research (SCANCOR). Her works has been published in Journal of Business Venturing, Research Policy, Regional Studies, Small Business Economics and Industrial and Corporate Chang.
