Arina Loginova

I’m happy to share that I received a scholarship from The United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) to participate in the Regional Forum on Sustainable Development in Geneva as a representative of the youth from Eurasian region in March 2023. I pronounced the speech on the Closing Plenary session where I touched on the issues raised by more than 100 young people during our Youth Pre-Meeting, including:

• stigma and discrimination around menstruation and the sanitary health;
• politicization of the climate change in Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia;
• rural areas inclusion to sustainable infrastructure investments;
• the Paris 1.5 degree target and a sustainable and renewable energy transition;
• young scientists support;
• the practice of unpaid internships;
• persecution against peaceful youth activists, including human rights advocates and environmental defenders.
