I pronounced the speech on the Closing Plenary session where I touched on the issues raised by more than 100 young people during our Youth Pre-Meeting, including:</p> <ul> <li>stigma and discrimination around menstruation and the sanitary health; </li> <li>politicization of the climate change in Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia; </li> <li>rural areas inclusion to sustainable infrastructure investments; </li> <li>the Paris 1.5 degree target and a sustainable and renewable energy transition;</li> <li>young scientists support;</li> <li>the practice of unpaid internships;</li> <li>persecution against peaceful youth activists, including human rights advocates and environmental defenders.</li> </ul> <p>My speech is available <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e98Qtq6NZRk">here</a>.</p> <br /> </div>Tue, 13 Jun 2023 12:27:30 +02002023-06-13T12:27:30+02:00
