Ph.D. in Chemical Sciences of the University of Bologna (XVI cycle, 2001-2003) performed at the Department of Chemistry "G. Ciamician". Supervisor: Prof. G. Cainelli. Thesis title: "Synthesis of 4-alkylidene-beta-lactams: a new class of enzymatic inhibitors".
