PhD candidate of the 39th Cycle in Interpretation, Translation and Intercultural Studies (curriculum Intercultural Studies) at the University of Bologna, she works on utopian studies, gender studies, archival critique, and feminist speculative and experimental literatures. Her research, "Haunted Archives: Reviving Ghosts to Imagine Otherwise. Feminist Fabulation, Disobedient Genealogies and Utopian Experiments.", investigates the contemporary crisis of utopian narratives, exploring works and practices that offer new ways of imagining otherwise. Using diffractive reading, it examines experimental writings that reimagine archives shaped by violent histories: Saidiya Hartman’s critical fabulation (Wayward Lives, Beautiful Experiments, 2019), Kathy Acker’s radical experimentalism (Empire of the Senseless, 1988), Shelley Jackson’s imaginative archives (Riddance, 2018), and Lidia Yuknavitch’s post-human archive (Thrust, 2022).
