Curriculum vitae

Arianna Moretti is a Ph.D. student in the 'Cultural Heritage in the Digital Ecosystem' program at the Department of Classical Philology and Italian Studies of the University of Bologna. 

Her primary research focus lies in the automation of metadata crosswalks between different data models and file formats. Specifically, she is dedicated to creating a highly reusable workflow for exchanging variably modeled metadata in the cultural heritage domain, with a particular emphasis on RDF serialization formats. This research interest extends to her involvement in Spoke 4 of the PNRR Extended Partnership 5 (Cultural Heritage Active Innovation for Sustainable Society - CHANGES).

Additionally, she collaborates with OpenCitations under the Research Centre for Open Scholarly Metadata at the University of Bologna, where her responsibilities include performing crosswalks from the data source data models to the OpenCitations data model.

  • Since March 2023: Ph.D. Student at the University of Bologna (FICLIT), Italy.
  • Since December 2022: Teaching Tutor at the University of Bologna (FICLIT), Italy. Responsibilities consist of providing support for the Basic Computer Science course (A-L) in the Humanities program. The course covers topics such as computational thinking, data structures, algorithms, programming languages, World Wide Web, internet, information transfer, web pages, and IT in humanities.
  • April 2022 - February 2023: Software Developer at OpenCitations - Research Fellow at the University of Bologna (FICLIT), Italy. Responsibilities included Python development, creation of citation indexes, data visualization in JavaScript, utilization of APIs, and application of Semantic Web technologies. She contributed to various projects, including collaborative scholarly writing, all aligned with Open Science principles.
  • March 2022: Master's Degree in Digital Humanities and Digital Knowledge.
  • July 2019: Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology, Religions, and Oriental Civilizations.
  • July 2016: Classical High School Diploma.
