Thesis Opportunities
I offer bachelor’s and master’s thesis supervision on topics related to placebo and nocebo effects, with a focus on three main areas: (1) the role of placebo and nocebo effects in the management of chronic conditions, through systematic literature reviews or experimental studies; (2) the influence of individual differences (e.g., personality traits, expectations, beliefs) on the modulation of placebo and nocebo effects, using theoretical or empirical approaches; (3) education and communication strategies about placebo and nocebo effects in the general population, including field applications or evaluations of informational effectiveness.
Theses may involve literature reviews, secondary data analyses, or the design of experimental studies.
