Anwesha Chakraborty

Initially trained in linguistics, literature and communication from University of Hyderabad (India), over the last decade, Anwesha has studied and worked as a researcher in Italy and Sweden, carrying out fieldwork in India, Italy and USA.

At present, she is working on digital media and collective action, and is interested in exploring various aspects of digital society, including digital policies, digital divide and ICTs for development.

Outside academia, she has worked in the publishing sector as a desk editor with Cambridge University Press (India) and has written school textbooks for English language teaching of middle school children. She continues to be a freelance editor and translator. Vai al Curriculum
