Short Bio

He holds a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering awarded through a Double Degree program between Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna and the University of Liège, with a specialization in Structural Analysis and Assessment. He is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Bologna within the EIT4STEMM doctoral programme and affiliated with the Department of Civil, Chemical, Environmental and Materials Engineering (DICAM).His research activity lies at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence, Structural Health Monitoring (SHM), and Digital Twin technologies, with a specific focus on the development of advanced methodologies for performance assessment, asset management, and resilience enhancement of civil infrastructure systems.Adopting an interdisciplinary approach that integrates structural engineering, computational modelling, and data science, his work aims to design and implement innovative digital frameworks to improve the safety, efficiency, and long-term sustainability of the built environment.
