Junior Assistant Professor at the Department of Industrial Engineering from February 2023. He is focusing on design and optimization methodologies for aerospace and automotive structures (lattice structures, topology optimization, generative design) which should be produced with Additive Manufacturing technologies.
In 2022 he obtained a PhD in "Automotive Engineering for an intelligent mobility" at the University of Bologna. His research activity focused on the development of a voxel-based CAD framework for the design of automotive components.
From May to October 2018 he was incharged for a research fellowship of Centro Interdipartimentale di Ricerca Industriale sull'Aeronautica by University of Bologna for research in the field of Additive Manufacturing and Topology Optimization.
