Visitor from October 1986 to May 1987 in the Laboratory of Evoked Potential of the Child Neurology and Psychiatry Unit of the University of Perugia.

Grant from 1988 to 1989 to attend the “Hospital Saint Vincent de Paul” in Paris to improve knowledge of childhood and adolecence epilepsy, electroencephalography and evoked potentials.

Specialization in Child Neurology and Psychiatry on 1989 with summa cum laude.

Director of the reserach project in collaboration with the Department of Classical Philology and Italian Studies, University of Bologna, Italy, and the Department of Literary, Linguistics and Comparative Studies - University of Naples “L’Orientale”, Italy  "Linguistic Markers of Anorexia Nervosa: a prospective observationa study".

Memeber of education, research and assistance committees of the Neurologic Clinic (Department of Neurological Sciences) of the University of Bologna. Member of the autism teem, PRIA regional project and scientific committee regarding assitance of patients with autism spectrum disorder.

Responsible of two study requested from the Regional Education Department of Emilia Romagna Region: 1) to identify the causes of disability in children attending the public schools of the Region Emilia Romagna during the school year 2012-2013, and to determine how these diagnoses are distributed among Provinces and school grades; 2) to test the efficacy of VB-MAPP in children affected by autism spectrum disorder in the School De Amicis (Anzola dell'Emilia - BO)(2015-16).
