Associate professor in the department of Physics and Astronomy.
My reserach is in extragalactic astrophysics, focussed on the study of galaxy clusters. In particular, I study the non-thermal properties of galaxy clusters using radio observations at low (150 MHz - 1GHz) and high (1 GHz - 8 GHz) frequency, as well as numerical simulations.
In 2016, I have obtained an ERC Starting Grant "DRANOEL" to study the non-thermal emission in galaxy clusters
In 2025, I have obtained an ERC Consolidator Grant "BELOVED" to study the magnetic field evolution in galaxy clusters
