Anna Vitali

I am a PhD student in Computer Science and Engineering. My main research topic is Artificial Intelligence applied to the industrial sector.

In developing my studies, I collaborate actively with Scm Group, developing research projects which aim to improve the interaction between operators and machines using the potential of Artificial Intelligence.

Before undertaking my doctoral studies, I completed my Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Bologna, in 2021 and 2023, respectively.

I am a reader not only of many papers but also of books from different genres. One of my favorite authors is Oliver Sacks, who wrote in an anthropologist on Mars what I think is the essence of research work: “involves the power to originate, to break away from the existing ways of looking at things, […] while supervising all this with a critical inner eye.”
