Anna Bertelli is a PhD student in Political and Social Sciences at the University of Bologna. She obtained her BA (2020) and MA (2023) in Philosophy from the University of Pavia, with a thesis combining environmental ethics and epistemology. Meantime, she attended courses at the University School for Advanced Studies (IUSS) and Ghislieri College, and studied at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona (2021–22) and the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich (2019–20).
Prior starting her PhD, she gained professional experience in research management, scientific communication, and policy advising. She was Research Fellow, Project Manager, and Editor-in-Chief for the European project StR-ESFRI3 — dedicated to open research infrastructures — at the University of Milan (2023–2025). Previously, she completed an internship as a science communicator at the European Commission's Joint Research Center (2023) and a curricular internship as a technology ethics consultant in ENI's ICT area (2022).
