Anita Lavorgna

Anita Lavorgna is Associate Professor in the Department of Political and Social Sciences at the University of Bologna, where she teaches Sociology, Social Change, and Cybercrime.

After her PhD at the University of Trento, Anita spent most of her academic career in the UK, where she was Associate Professor of Criminology at the University of Southampton (until 2022). 

Anita’s research pivots around cybercrimes and digital social harms, and is mostly based on interdisciplinary approaches.
