Research activity
Postdoctoral Researcher and Assistant Professor at the Department of Architecture, Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna (since October 2024). His research focuses on performance-based assessment, renovation, and management of built heritage through digital methods, with particular attention to BIM/HBIM and Digital Twins.
He coordinated the BeTwin project, “Building Digital Twin for Built Heritage Performance-based Management” (AlmaValue 2023 call; 2023–2025).
He collaborated on the research project DIGITMAN, “Occupant-based DIGITal predictive MANagement to improve the built environment” (PRIN 2022 – Research Projects of National Interest, Prot. 2022JMRX2A; 2023–2025).
He collaborates on the Horizon Europe project HERIT4AGES, “User-centric and data-driven retrofitting solutions for a resilient, energy efficient, low-emission and inclusive cultural heritage” (Horizon Europe, GA No. 101123175; 2023–2026).
