PhD student in Global Histories, Cultures, and Politics (38th cycle) at the University of Bologna. My research interests mainly fall within the fields of Religious Studies, Historical Anthropology and History of Colonialism. The PhD research project, provisionally entitled "Divination and Omens in the Novohispanic Missionary Tradition between Sixteenth and Seventeenth Centuries. A Comparative Look to the Hispanic Magical-Divinatory Treatises", is focused on the (re)construction of the representation of indigenous divinatory beliefs and practices in the missionary sources produced in the early Novohispanic colonial context.
