Andrea Turolla

Senior Assistant Professor at the University of Bologna since 2022. The core of his research in Rehabilitation Sciences are focused on neurophysiology and control of the motor system, effect of physiotherapy in musculoskeletal disorders, virtual reality and robotics for neurorehabilitation, to improve efficacy of rehabilitation therapies. He was recipient as Principal Investigator of several grants from the Italian Ministry of Health and the European Commission (FP7, H2020). He’s author of more than  100 original research papers.

From 2005 to 2021 he worked at the San Camillo Hospital IRCCS (Venice, Italy), directing the "Laboratory of Rehabilitation Technologies", the research line "Neuroplasticity and Functinal Recovery" and the clinical "Service of Neuromotor Rehabilitation".
