Andrea Tramaloni

Andrea Tramaloni graduated in 2019 in Mechatronics Engineering (bachelor degree) from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia and in 2022 in Automation Engineering (master's degree) from the University of Bologna. He obtained the PhD title in 2026 in Biomedical, Electrical and Systems Engineering, majoring in Automatic Controls at the Center for Research on Complex Automated Systems (CASY) of the Department of Electrical and Information Engineering "Guglielmo Marconi".

His doctoral project, supervised by Professor Giuseppe Notarstefano and in collaboration with the Rizzoli Orthopedic Institute in Bologna, involved the study of artificial intelligence methods in the medical and biological fields. In particular: design of tracking algorithms for cell microscopy experiments, predictive models for the study and analysis of tumor invasion behaviors, and optimal control techniques for chemotherapeutic therapies.
