Andrea Giovanni Perozziello is a PhD candidate at the Department of Agricultural and Food Sciences of the University of Bologna. He holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from EPFL and a Bachelor’s degree in Informatics from Università della Svizzera Italiana.
Before joining UniBo, Andrea gained international experience working in agri-tech and data-driven sustainability projects in Kenya and Switzerland. His research now focuses on the behavioural and systemic dimensions of food system sustainability, combining digital innovation, behavioural analysis, and agricultural economics.
Through his work, he aims to understand how technology and human behaviour interact within agrifood systems and how this knowledge can inform effective strategies for reducing food waste and promoting sustainable practices.
