Andrea Padova is Professor of Piano at the Conservatory of Music of Parma and a PhD candidate in Italian Studies at the University of Fribourg, in joint supervision with the University of Bologna, under the guidance of Uberto Motta and Loredana Chines.
He previously obtained a Master’s degree in Art History (University of Parma), a Master’s degree in Musicology (University of Bologna), a Diploma in Piano (Conservatory of Naples), and an Advanced Diploma in Composition (Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia).
His publications, issued by Franco Cesati, Carocci, Cappelli, Libreria Universitaria, and Vivarium Novum, are mainly devoted to Leon Battista Alberti and to the presence of music in writers from Petrarch to Landino.
