Andrea Knapp

Andrea Knapp is a Ph.D. candidate in Political and Social Sciences (37th cycle) at the University of Bologna. Her research focuses on peacekeeping, decision-making in international organizations (particularly the United Nations and NATO) as well as norm theory. Combining quantitative methods (regression and text-as-data) with interviews, her doctoral thesis investigates negotiation processes on civilian protection by the United Nations Security Council since the end of the Cold War.
