PhD candidate (41st cycle) in Constitutional Law since 2025 and trainee lawyer since 2026.
His research interests focus in particular on the Italian form of government, European Union governance, and crisis law. He is currently concentrating his research on the relationship between institutions and Italian and European law in times of “polycrisis.”
Education and Training
Since November 2025, he has been a PhD candidate (41st cycle) in Legal Sciences, in the scientific-disciplinary sector of Constitutional Law, with a research project entitled "Il concetto di forma di governo tra Unione europea e Italia nelle 'policrisi'", under the supervision of Professor Corrado Caruso.
From January to June 2025, he attended, as a scholarship holder, the Seminario di Studi e Ricerche Parlamentari "Silvano Tosi" in Florence. In that context, he contributed to the drafting of the special issue of Osservatorio sulle fonti (December 2025), entitled "La decretazione d’urgenza nella storia costituzionale italiana: dallo Statuto Albertino alla prassi della XIX legislatura".
He graduated on 3 July 2024 in Law at the Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna with a final grade of 110/110 cum laude, with a thesis in Regional Law entitled "La forma di governo delle Regioni: il 'neoparlamentarismo' nell'ordinamento giuridico italiano", supervised by Professor Corrado Caruso.
Teaching Assisting Activities
From October to December 2025, he conducted afternoon tutorials (lectures and support for the in-depth analysis of selected cases of constitutional case law) within the Constitutional Law courses held by Professors Andrea Morrone and Tommaso Giupponi.
Professional Experience
Since January 2026, he has been a trainee lawyer at the Avvocatura Distrettuale dello Stato di Bologna, under the supervision of Avvocato Vittorio Melandri.
From September 2023 to December 2023, he was an embassy intern at the Italian Embassy in Podgorica (Montenegro), within the MAECI-CRUI programme.
