Andrea Di Martino

Bachelor’s degree in Geology and Master’s degree in Geology and Territory (with honours) from the University of Bologna, where a Ph.D. in Geosciences was also completed in 2024. Research activities focus on Quaternary stratigraphy and local seismic response, with particular attention to the integration of sedimentological, geotechnical, and geophysical data. International collaborations are ongoing with research institutions in Japan, the United States, and the United Kingdom, aimed at investigating the impact of shallow stratigraphy on seismic amplification. The research also includes the application of deep learning models for subsurface modelling and automated prediction of sedimentary facies.
